Review

Charma (also known as Daggleland) is a new match 3 puzzle, developed by Artogon and published by RealArcade, that features a different gameplay. The game takes you to a faraway land to save some small and lovely creatures called Daggles. With a captivating plot and wonderful graphics, this game really deserves a place in your game collection. An evil magician invaded Daggleland, and turned it into a volcanic area. Daggles had no other choice but to run away from their home to save their lives.

The game objective is to help them escape from the magician, and reach the Heavenly Country where they would live happily. In their way to salvation, they will be facing lots of dangers, going through deserts, enchanted forests, and facing the freezing cold in snowed locations. Daggleland presents a new game mechanics within the match 3 gameplay. Commonly, tiles are fixed and arranged in a grid where the player swaps them to make them match. In Daggleland instead, tiles are continuously moving, so grabbing and matching tiles becomes a little more complicated.

Graphics in the game are wonderful, for every level and locations, the landscapes shown are detailed and beautiful. Daggles, that may surely remind you of Gremlins, are wonderfully animated; their movements and gestures, even the sounds they make, are greatly done.
Advantages
  • Awesome graphics.
  • Great music and sound.
  • Original gameplay.
Disadvantages
  • First three or four levels are too easy.
